Terms of use
Last updated 7 October 2026
makegeodiagrams.com turns geometry problems into figures. It is a small service run by an individual. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms. Questions go to contact@makegeodiagrams.com.
Your account
- One account is for one person. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account.
- Give a working email address. We use it for the account only.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. We will tell you why by email. Closing an account this way ends the permissions its figures had (see copyright).
Acceptable use
- Do not try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service, and do not use scripts or bots on the website.
- Do not share an account or resell access to it.
- Only send text you have the right to use, and nothing unlawful.
- Do not remove, cover or crop out the mark on figures from the Free plan.
Plans and credits
- Free: 60 credits a month, about five figures with their edits, from the day you confirm your email address (an account made with Google is confirmed at once). Downloads are PNG at 300 and 600 dpi with a faint makegeodiagrams.com mark.
- Personal ($3 a month, or $24 for twelve months) includes 300 credits a month; Pro ($10 a month, or $80 for twelve months) includes 1,500 credits a month. What each plan includes is listed on the pricing page.
- Credits pay for the AI work behind figures and edits. An action uses the credits of the work it actually took, rounded up to a whole credit, whether or not the result could be verified. If the AI service does not answer at all, nothing is used; work it does answer, even after the reply, uses its credits. One action never uses more than its limit — 300 credits unless you set another between 20 and 1,000 on your account page — and you can stop an action at any time: it then uses what was spent until then, including model calls that were already running. The design editor, Move, Effects, size changes, downloads and redraws use none.
- Plan credits renew each month of a plan and do not carry over. Credit packs (500 credits for $5, for Personal and Pro accounts) last 12 months.
- Credits are not money: they cannot be exchanged for cash or moved to another account, except as the refund policy says.
- Paid plans are subscriptions that renew automatically: at the end of each month (or twelve months) the payment method you used is charged for the same plan and term, and the plan goes on without a gap. You can turn renewal off on your account page at any time, except in the half hour before a renewal is charged and while a failed renewal payment is being retried (then use the cancel link in Paddle's emails); the plan then runs to the end of the period already paid for and the account returns to the Free plan. If a renewal payment fails, Paddle retries it for up to 30 days and the plan stays on meanwhile; the new month's credits arrive when the payment goes through. If Paddle cannot take the payment, the subscription ends and the account returns to the Free plan. A price change never affects a period already paid for, and we tell you by email before a new price applies to a renewal.
- Moving from Personal to Pro starts Pro at once with a fresh month; the credits you have left are kept, and the Personal subscription stops then (its remaining time is not refunded; if it is charged again anyway, that payment is refunded). Refunding a move to Pro does not bring back the Personal plan. A lower plan can be chosen once the current one ends.
Paying
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all orders placed on this website: it sells to you, takes the payment, charges any sales tax or VAT that applies (in many countries it is already included in the price shown), sends your receipts and invoices, and handles payment questions and returns. Prices are shown in US dollars, or in your currency where Paddle offers it; tax that depends on your address, such as US sales tax, is added at checkout. The plan or the credits start as soon as the payment goes through. Paddle's own buyer terms and privacy notice apply to the payment. The card on file and your invoices can be managed from your account page. Organisations are billed under a separate contract.
Using the figures, and copyright
- We hold the copyright in the figures the site draws and license them to you by plan: Free and Personal for personal and classroom use (Free figures keep their mark), Pro and organisation contracts for commercial and publication use as well. What each kind of use covers, which plan counts for a figure and what a refund changes are set out on the copyright and licences page, which is part of these terms.
- You keep the rights to the problems and solutions you send. You allow us to process them to make your figures, as the privacy policy describes — including what we promise about them (your problems stay yours) and what AI service providers may do with them.
- The website and its software belong to makegeodiagrams.com.
What we promise, and what we do not
Each figure comes with what was checked: whether its construction solves and whether the claims stated in the problem hold on the drawn figure. When something could not be verified, the result says so. Beyond that, the service is provided as it is, without other warranties: please look over a figure before you publish it. As far as the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid for the service in the twelve months before a claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and an important change will be announced on the site before it takes effect.
